What personal data we collect and why we collect it
We have a number of contact forms across our website which enable site visitors to send us an email or request a quote.
These forms require that you enter a name and an email address. We use this information to be able to respond and address you appropriately.
No data from any contact form is stored on our website or added to any mailing list without your consent.
When you send a request for a quote we may enter your personal details and any additional information or documents into our customer management system.
No information from quote requests is stored on our website but some information is entered into third party software to enable us to provide a quotation and follow-ups.
Marketing & mailing lists
You will only receive marketing emails from us if you have provided permission for us to do this. Your data is never shared with anyone else and can be unsubscribed or removed at any time by your request or action. We do not buy data from other companies.
When you visit our website
When you visit our website a number of cookies are placed in your browser which enables Google to track your actions across our website. This enables us to see non-identifiable information about how our website is being used, ‘most popular pages’, ‘error pages, ‘how you found us’ etc. We use this data to improve our services and the experience on the website. Analytics can show information about the system you are using to browse the website including browser and device category.
We do not collect any personal identifiable data in Google analytics e.g. email addresses and any IP addresses are anonymised within Google analytics.
Who we share your data with
We do not share any information about our customers or suppliers without their permission.
How long we retain your data
We only ever retain personal information for as long as is necessary.
If we have collected personal data (name, address, contact details) in relation to an order/ transaction, then we will store the relevant data as part of our business records for the required period of time prescribed by law, for example VAT records.
We retain email archives for up to 7 years, this data is retained as an audit trail of authorisations for orders, changes to finances or to assist in historical re-ordering.
What rights you have over your data
You have the right to request and see what information we have stored about you. You also have the right to request that we delete any personal data we hold that is not related to a business transaction or we are required to hold for legal reasons.
As a Contracted/Non-Contracted client we may be privy to private, sensitive or secure information. We are happy to complete non-disclosure agreements if required.
